We had a mellow New Year’s Eve last night – sparkler candle and cake and pizza with friends. In bed by 11 pm Pacific time (so we did watch the ball drop). Today was pretty mellow as well.
My daughter stayed the night last night with friends to watch the Stranger Things finale and my husband woke up not feeling well, took some meds that made him tired and went for a nap at 11 am and I watched the Stranger Things finale on my own – he does not like anything that is even hinting at scary. I really enjoyed it. My daughter is pretty emotional about it ending. We were late to the show by a couple of seasons, but we did the Netflix experience in SF twice and we watched a lot of YouTube videos. She went as Max for Halloween one year. And I was able to relive my teens (I graduated in 1986) through the show and music. It was special. I am really hoping I can figure out a way to get us to NYC to see the play this year. It would make for quite the memory-making event.
I didn’t do resolutions this year. I made a Bingo card instead.

I’m hoping it makes it a little more doable. Some of them will be super easy, but others will be more difficult for sure. We’ll see how this goes.
Do you have New Year’s Resolutions? What’s your #1? What about Stranger Things – any fans out there that are a little heartbroken today?
