LA in Photos #2 – LA Dodgers Game

This weekend, we had the questionable fortune of attending a Dodgers (boo!) vs. Giants (yay!) game—an age-old rivalry that never disappoints, even if the scoreboard did. Sadly for us Giants fans, the game didn’t swing in our favor, but the overall experience more than made up for it.

It was my first time back at Dodger Stadium in over 20 years, and wow—what a transformation! The updates are impressive, and the atmosphere still carries that unique buzz only found in a stadium packed with loyal (and loud) fans. We went with some good friends, and if you look closely at one of our photos, you’ll spot their son hilariously trying to photo-bomb us—classic!

My daughter and I decided to skip the legendary Dodger Dogs (blasphemy, I know!) and opted instead for nachos…served in a full-size Dodgers batting helmet. Not only were they delicious (seriously good ballpark nachos!), but we scored a cool piece of memorabilia to bring home. Double win. Later, we topped it off with ice cream in adorable mini helmet cups—because no ballgame is complete without a little sugar rush.

All in all, even with a Giants loss, it was an evening full of laughter, nostalgia, and new memories. Here’s to rivalries, helmet snacks, and the kind of summer days that stick with you.
