LA in Photos #1: Yellowjackets Event

After a little hiatus, I’m back! This past week, I traded my usual routine for sunshine, traffic, and ocean views! I spent the week in Los Angeles with my teen daughter. It was a whirlwind of sights, laughter, and unexpected moments. While the beach views are addicting, I must admit—I’m happy to be home, cozy and recharging.

But before I settle back in completely, I wanted to share a peek into our LA adventure through some favorite photos and a few stories to go along with them. Come take a little photo tour with me through a series of posts. First up:

Yellowjackets Pop-Up Ice Cream

I have not watched this show yet, but my daughter loves it! So, when she saw on social media that the show was having a pop-up ice cream truck in spots in LA while we were there, we had to make it work. So, we headed to The Original Farmers Market last Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that the line wasn’t too long.

She got the Queen of Hearts, which had an edible Queen of Hearts in it (made of rice paper). I didn’t get a photo of hers. But, I got The Cave and it was quite tasty. She really loved it and got a free keychain and some photo books with interviews with the stars of the show in addition to the free ice cream!

I am so glad we were able to do this event and now I’ll have to watch the show! We love doing this type of thing. We went to the Stranger Things experience twice while it was in SF! If you have the opportunity to do one of these experience events based on TV shows that you or someone in your household loves, please do it!
